Poland’s GDP will grow by 1.5% in 2013, while inflation will be at some 2.3 percent, a report by the central bank NBP said.

According to NBP, the results of its latest survey among experts showed considerable changes in the assessment of future macroeconomic processes.

Forecasts of GDP growth for 2013-2014 and of the CPI were strongly adjusted downwards.

The experts expect more monetary easing on the part of NBP and quote weaker demand, deterioration on the labor market and gradual appreciation of the zloty among factors that could suppress inflation.
