What makes investing the Euro-Park Mielec Special Economic Zone in Poland worthwhile? To begin with, we approach investors with an interesting choice of areas to locate their projects, complete with attractive alternative locations. We operate on 22 sites in the south and north of Poland. Our plots of land are well prepared for new projects. Vast human resources are available in our main region, the southeastern part of Poland. Here investors can look forward to the highest state aid available in Poland. The land that makes up the Special Economic Zone is conveniently located in terms of transportation. Parts of the zone are located in the Podkarpacie and Lublin science and technology parks. We have vast experience in carrying out investment projects with over 130 active investors in the zone, including global corporations.

The Euro-Park Mielec Special Economic Zone is particularly attractive for aviation companies. The region has strong aviation traditions which are cultivated to this day in the form of an exceptional project called the Aviation Valley, which is like nothing else in Poland.

The main city of the region, Rzeszów, is the largest economic center of southeastern Poland with a modern airport. All of that is coupled with a strong academic community, mainly that of the Rzeszów University of Technology with its laboratories and foreign investors such as the United Technologies Corporation. Lublin, the other big city in the region, is a major academic center as well.

Some of the most prominent investors in the zone include BorgWarner Turbo Systems Poland, based in the United States, Germany’s MTU Aero Engines Polska, Firma Oponiarska Dębica SA of the Goodyear group, Sweden’s Husqvarna, Ball Packaging Europe Lublin and Hamilton Sundstrand, which has a new project in the pipeline.

One more thing: we have a lot to be proud of when it comes to the region’s resources in training workers for the automotive and aviation industries and other sectors. Centers for the transfer of new production technology are under development in several cities in the region. The centers will provide practical vocational education at the high-school level.

We strongly encourage you to check what the Euro-Park Mielec Special Economic Zone has to offer. For over 15 years, we have been turning it into a Zone of Success. The zone is managed by the Industrial Development Agency SA (ARP), which has for years been a proven partner of the Polish government.
