Poland and Mongolia tighten their ties

Elbegdorj Tsakhia and Bronislaw Komorowski
President of Mongolia Elbegdorj Tsakhia and President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski signed agreements on bilateral economy, defense and education cooperation yesterday in Warsaw.

The Mongolian President came on an official two-day visit Poland on Jan. 20. On the first day of his visit he met Mongolians who work and live in the country.

On Monday President Elbegdorj Tsakhia met with Poland’s PM Donald Tusk and Sejm lower house speakers Ewa Kopacz and made a speech during a Mongolian-Polish business meeting.

He also attended the opening ceremony for establishing a Mongolian language department at the University of Warsaw.
