EBRD downgrades 2013 GDP growth forecast for Poland

Poland's economy is expected to grow 1.5% in 2013, a forecast published by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on Monday said.

In an October forecast EBRD wrote that in 2013 Poland's GDP would grow by 2.2%. At the same time EBRD has downgraded its 2013 GDP growth forecast for Slovakia and Hungary and upgraded a forecast for the Baltic countries.

According to EBRD, Poland's economy grew by 2% in 2012.
