Support for ruling party PO slides down - TNS Polska

Polish ruling liberal party Civic Platform (PO) saw its support fall by 5 pps to 29%, while its major rival, main opposition conservative Law and Justice (PiS) suffered a 3 pp decline to 23% voter support, a report by TNS Polska showed.

Left-wing party Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) gained 3 pps to 10% support, according to the poll.

Leftist-liberal party the Palikot Movement (RP) edged up to 7% voter support (up 1 ppt), while junior coalition partner Polish People’s Party (PSL) support decreased by 1 pps to 6%.

The poll was taken on January 11-14 on a representative sample of 971 adult Poles.
