Moda&Styl magazine held its 14th Gala event April 17 at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, showing a wide variety of new fashion trends. The audience was particularly enthusiastic about new collections of underwear and bathing suits showcased during the event. Other special attractions included Polish celebrities as judges and different kinds of music selected “in just the right proportions,” as one event participant put it.

Chaired by Moda&Styl editor-in-chief Halina Rostkowska-Niemczyk, the judges awarded Enda statuettes in 10 categories, including two new ones called Freestyle and Cocktail Fashion. The judges faced a difficult task trying to pick the best sexy lingerie brand, as competition was tight between Anais, Livia Corsetti Fashion, Incitari, Pigeon and Softland.

The Butik Szafa Kasia Kowalska company proved a hit at this year’s Moda&Styl gala, taking home top awards in two Freestyle categories of women’s wear and men’s wear. The Cocktail Fashion award for women’s wear went to Pretty One and the men’s wear award was won by Diak. The judges also gave Enda statuettes to sexy lingerie from Incitari, Baldowski shoes for women and Badura shoes for men. The Moda&Styl Special Prize was given to Lavard and a special media award for the most spectacular collection went to Livia Corsetti Fashion. The audiences gave their prize to Softland.

The honorary guest of the gala event was Teresa Rosati, one of Poland’s best fashion designers. Her fashion show (pictured right), the first one in Poland this year, provided a spectacular finale to the event and received a round of applause. The guests also saw a part of a collection that Rosati had shown during the prestigious international Beverly Hills Fashion Festival in Los Angeles.

The event also included special fashion shows with clothes from G-Star, Dom Mody Fulara & Żywczyk and MarylaW. The guests could also see Cornette men’s underwear and She bathing suits.

The strategic sponsor of the event was the Euroservice & Skancar Authorized Volvo Dealer, which showed off two Volvo car models. The main sponsors were the De Dietrich Technika Grzewcza company and the Itaka tour operator.
