Bartosz Arlukowicz
Poland's lower chamber Sejm voted down the no-confidence motion against Health Minister Bartosz Arlukowicz, which was submitted by the major opposition conservative party Law and Justice (PiS).

The motion failed 220 to 232 votes. 231 votes would have been needed to dismiss the minister.

PiS as well as other opposition parties Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), Palikot Movement (RP) and Solidary Poland (SP) wanted to dismiss Arlukowicz accusing him of exacerbating crisis in the Polish healthcare system.

Ruling coalition PO-PSL has 235 votes in the lower chamber.
