Prime Minster Donald Tusk said Monday that he expects the Polish parliament to ratify the EU’s fiscal pact on tighter budget discipline this winter.

“My assessment is that the Polish parliament should adopt the fiscal pact this winter,” Tusk told reporters in Paris after holding talks there with French President Francois Hollande.

The government sent the fiscal pact to parliament for ratification in November.
