Wanda Nowicka
The Sejm lower house in a Friday morning vote did not support a motion by the liberal Palikot Movement (RP) to recall Wanda Nowicka (RP) from the post of deputy Sejm Speaker.

The RP caucus withdrew its support for Nowicka two weeks ago, after it was announced that Nowicka, like remaining members of the Sejm presidium, received a financial bonus of PLN 40,000 for the year 2012.
Majority of the ruling Civic Platform (PO) and of the left-wing Democratic Left Alliance deputies voted against Nowicka's recalling.
MPs of the conservative Law and Justice (PiS) did not take part in the vote.
