PGE’s nuclear unit signs consulting deal with WorleyParsons

PGE EJ, the nuclear energy unit of power utility PGE signed a deal with WorleyParsons on services concerning environmental and location research for the planned nuclear power plant, PGE EJ said in a press statement.
"At this stage of the project implementation, it is the most important deal signed so far," PGE EJ CEO Aleksander Grad was quoted as saying. "It is a breakthrough deal, as it will result 8in selecting location for the first Polish nuclear plant."
The two location taken into account are Zarnowiec and Choczewo, both in Pomeranian province, Northern Poland.
PGE was selected by Poland to build country's first nuclear plant with capacity of 3,000 MW.
