UAE and Poland seek closer cooperation in energy and agriculture

Energy and agriculture are the areas in which the United Arab Emirates would want to develop economic cooperation with Poland, UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri said in Bialystok, north-eastern Poland, on Friday.
Al Mansouri, who, along with a delegation of UAE top gov’t officials came to Poland on Feb. 7 for a two-day visit, attended a Polish-Emirates Business Forum organized by the Polish Agency for Foreign Investment PAIiIZ.
The Forum was also attended by Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi - Deputy Minister of Economy, UAE, Hamad Buamim - Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and HE Asim Mirza Al. Rahman - UAE Ambassador in Poland.
Minister Al Mansouri said that the last year's visit of Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the UAE “opened our eyes to the potential of your country.Then we got to know the new face of Poland.”
He also told reporters that the United Arab Emirates want "to get involved" in Poland in such areas as energy, including renewable energy, tourism, agriculture and projects related to the innovative economy.
During the Forum, an agreement on cooperation between PAIIiIZ and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce was signed.
