AuM of Polish investment funds rise to another record level
February 12, 2013
Assets under management of Polish investment funds increased in January by 1.3% month on month to PLN 147.8 billion, breaking another historical record, according to a report by researcher Analizy Online and asset management lobby IZFiA.
"January is the eight month in a row, in which the value of assets managed by domestic TFI (investment houses) increased," the report read.
"Although it's the highest value of assets under management in history, taking only retail funds into account, they are still far from the H2 2007 record," when they managed PLN 139 billion worth of assets, Analizy Online also wrote.
Net inflow amounted to a healthy PLN 1.6 billion in January, while the result on asset management added an estimated PLN 0.3 billion to the AuM total.
