Jazz lovers will be happy to hear that a new, cyclical artistic event called Jazz Monday has kicked off in Warsaw at Warsaw’s trendy Żurawina restaurant.

The event is hosted by a popular Polish singer and composer Sławek Uniatowski accompanied by members of the House Band as well as other young and talented Polish musicians.

Every Monday night guests at Zurawina have a chance to listen to local and international jazz stars, including guests from the British jazz scene.

This Monday (Feb.18) the highlights of event include performances by a young but acclaimed Polish jazz vocalist Monika Borzym, a rising star of the Polish music stage – Julka B and a charismatic Patric Sakharov with an unusual vocal potential – a new face on the music market.

An attraction of the evening will be Calisia Jazz Band –who will play one set entitled Jazz Jam composed of music pieces suggested by the audience.
