Bodily Choreography

The Bodily Choreography exhibition, on display at the Zachęta National Art Gallery, explores the links between visual arts, choreography and dance.

The works on display—which include “The Cost of Living,” a video by the DV8 Physical Theater dance group from Britain, telling the story of two dancers—are closer to choreography than traditional dance. Some of them document dance performances while others, joint projects by filmmakers and dancers, use dance as an element of a larger composition or depict the “social choreography” of everyday life.

Artists featured in the exhibition include Wojciech B±kowski, Ayse Erkmen, Fatboy Slim, Aneta Grzeszykowska, Oliver Herring, Jesper Just, Anna Molska, Adrian Paci, Mark Raidpere, and John Wood & Paul Harrison.
