Opel's plant in Gliwice, southern Poland, will start next week the production of the Opel Cascada model to be sold in Europe from March.
The preparation for the production launch cost EUR 55 million. The plant had to be expanded by 5,600 sqm.

"We estimate the Cascada output from several to ten thousand cars annually. Everything depends on how the car will be received on the main markets, including Germany, Italy, the UK and Spain," General Motors Poland spokesman Przemyslaw Byszewski said.
