First US rotating air force unit lands in Poland

The first shift of the US Air Force's Rotational Detachment (RD) to station in Poland arrived on Friday and Saturday at an airbase in Powidz, western Poland.

The 64-strong unit will saty in Poland until March 9.

Under a May, 2012 US-Polish agreement RD units will train in Poland once every quarter, including two annual training tours for F16 crews.
