Poland's non-government debt market increases at end-Q4 - Fitch

Poland's non-government debt market value reached PLN 117.7 at the end-Q4 2012, which represents a 20.7% increase year on year and a 4.6% growth quarter on quarter, rating agency Fitch wrote in a report.

The value of the corporate bond market with maturities over 365 days amounted to PLN 31.36 billion, up 29.6% y/y and up 7.6% q/q, Fitch said. Corporate bonds constituted 26.6% of the total market value.

The value of outstanding bank debt, with maturities over 365 days, amounted to PLN 44.4 billion on an annual increase of 20.7% and a quarterly growth of 2.6%, the report said. Bank non-government debt issues constituted 37.7% of the total market value.
