Polish consumer sentiment improves in February

Polish current consumer sentiment edged up by 1.9 pps month on month in February to -28.9 pts, with the leading confidence indicator also up, by 3.4 pts, to -37.5 pts, a monthly consumer sentiment survey by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) showed.

Both the current and leading confidence indicators reached highest levels since August 2012, the report showed.

The job outlook indicator also improved by 1.9 pts to -65.4 pts, while the major purchases indicator edged up by 0.3 pts to -23.4 pts.
