PGE, Energa to take over Iberdrola's Polish wind farms

Poland's power group PGE and a unit of energy firm Energa bought 75% stake in Iberdrola's wind farm assets in Poland at PLN 840 million, PGE said in a market filing.
The value of the transaction translates into PLN 1.1 billion for 100% stake, PGE said.
PGE and Energa intend to acquire additional 25% stake of Iberdrola held by EBRD, PGE said.
On the basis of the deal PGE will acquire operating wind farms with installed capacity of 70.5 MW, with contracted off-take of electricity and certificates and pipeline of projects with planned capacity of 36 MW at an advanced stage of development, the filing said.
Energa Hydro will acquire wind farms with installed capacity of 114 MW and pipeline of wind projects with planned capacity of approximately 1,146 MW, the filing said.
