Space Filled With Emotion
September 2, 2011
Article's tools:

An installation by Aleksandra Wasilkowska by the name of Nie-pokój (Disturbia) on show at the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw is a disturbing take on the idea of inanimate objects assuming human qualities and emotions. The installation alludes to films like Roman Polanski’s Lodger and Michel Gondry’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in which everyday objects interact with people, reacting to their subconscious fears and “materializing” their state of mind.
