New Musical at the Buffo

Article's tools:

I Love You, one of the longest running shows on Broadway, will have its Polish premiere Sept. 16 at Warsaw’s Buffo Theater.

I Love You is a hilarious musical comedy written by Joe Di Pietro, one of America’s most acclaimed playwrights. Directed by David Foulkes with music by Jan Młynarski, the Polish production is built of a variety of subplots linked by the common theme of love and relationships, illustrated by a dozen couples who are in love or struggling to find happiness. The witty script and libretto uncover the truth behind relationships, with all the confusion, intimate and comic first dates, awkward bedroom moments and getting to meet partners’ parents. The crazy lives of singles, dating, boring married life and disillusions, you name it, the show has got it.

The cast includes Rafał Królikowski, Ewa Konstancja Bułhak, Mariusz Kiljan and Karolina Piechota.
