Science Festival

The 15th Science Festival will be held this year Sept. 16-25 under the auspices of the Conference of the Presidents of Higher Education Institutions in Warsaw, the Mayor of Warsaw and the President and Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

Spanning ten days, the festival will comprise more than 500 events organized by over 1,000 researchers and teachers and by over 100 science institutions, schools, research centers and cultural establishments in Warsaw.

The festival program has been designed for all age groups and includes debates, science clubs, demonstrations, lectures, workshops and movie screenings. There will be a number of activities for children, such as the Science Festival for Kids, a Geology Picnic and an Encounters with Music event. A special Science Picnic for families will take place in Jabłonna near Warsaw. The festival features a number of events designed specially for schools and dealing with both exact sciences and the humanities.
