Four Poles have scaled the to date unconquered Karakoram peak Broad Peak (8,051m), PAP Polish news agency reported on Tuesday citing Artur Hajzer, head of the Polish Winter Himalayan Mountaineering 2010-2015 program.

Yesterday the four climbers, Maciej Berbeka (58), Adam Bielecki (29), Tomasz Kowalski (27) and Artur Malek (33), were on their way down to a base at 7,400m, where they were going to spend the night before continuing their descent.
