Poland’s budget deficit will not exceed the PLN 35.6 billion planned in the budget law for this year, deputy Finance Minister Hanna Majszczyk said at the sitting of parliamentary committee on Thursday.
"We will present the schedule of state receipts and spending by the end of the month or at the beginning of April at the latest," the official said, adding that the final version should not differ significantly from the current one.
The official also said that Poland expects an improvement on the revenue side of the budget in H2, when the economic revival is likely to take place.
The deficit will start to go down in H2, she said.
The budget deficit reached PLN 21.65 billion after February 2013, or 60.9% of of its annual target, Finance Ministry figures showed.
