Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Poland is shrinking as portfolio investment, that is, shares that foreign investors buy in Polish companies, is rising according to a report by the Allen & Overy law firm.

Analyzing global financial flows, the report shows that 96 percent of world business leaders are confident the coming two years will be good for business, even though the economic revival is jeopardized by the debt crisis in the eurozone.

As far as development prospects for enterprises are concerned, China is considered number one, although according to Allen & Overy the country is the hardest market in the world to enter.
