The Roma Music Theater has teamed up with the Walt Disney Company on a new project entitled Disney—Young Theater which brings the most famous titles from Disney Studios to the best musical venues around the world.

In Poland, the project kicks off Nov. 26 when the Roma Music Theater will premiere a show called Aladdin Jr. A musical version of Disney’s Aladdin (1992) animated movie, it has been produced and directed in Poland by Roma director Wojciech Kępczyński.

The big-screen adaptation of the popular fairy tale came with music that won Academy Awards for the movie in 1993 for Best Original Score and Best Original Song (“A Whole New World”).

Aladdin Jr. entertains, educates and strikes a chord with audiences of all ages. The story of an impoverished boy who chooses to achieve success through his own resilience rather than through magic conveys a wise message.

In a broader sense, Aladdin Jr. is also a story of friendship, trust and true love which can see beyond social standing and money.
