Ulver, formed in 1993, are Norwegian icons of vanguard electronic and post-metal music. The group first came to Poland in early 2010. This time, Ulver will play at the MegaClub in Katowice Dec. 17, promoting their latest album, Wars of the Roses.

Another Norwegian act is performing the same night—Virus, a vanguard metal band formed in 2000. Virus have released three albums to date and the latest, The Agent That Shapes the Desert, has been getting rave reviews.

The third act at the MegaClub will be Strommoussheld, a Katowice-based group who play a fusion of symphonic black metal, industrial metal and electronic music with a touch of dark wave. The band are currently working on a new album entitled No Direction Home.
