A Pale Horse Named Death, a new band made up of former members of popular doom/gothic rock bands Danzig, Type O Negative and Life of Agony, are coming to Poland to play two gigs, in Warsaw and Wrocław.

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York City, the band was formed by Sal Abruscato, former drummer for Type O Negative and Life of Agony, who is vocalist and guitarist in the new act.

The other members are Matt Brown of Seventh Void fame, Eric Morgan from Lament and Johnny Kelly, who replaced Abruscato in Type O Negative in 1994 and who more recently played with Danzig.

Abruscato has said that A Pale Horse Named Death is not a hasty, one-off project, but a fully fledged group, adding that the And Hell Will Follow Me album that the band released last year is the best he has been involved in. Major music media such as Revolver magazine and the Allmusic website seem to agree with him, giving the album high ratings.
