14th International EuroLab Trade Fair of Analytical, Measurement and Control Technology

This year’s 14th International EuroLab Trade Fair of Analytical, Measurement and Control technology in Warsaw will be held March 28-30 at the MT Polska Fair Center, attended by almost 200 companies exhibiting professional laboratory gear, accessories and all kinds of equipment for research facilities. One of the most important trade events of its kind, the EuroLab fair is where science meets business. It is designed for employees of all kinds of labs, including those dealing with chemistry, biology, pharmaceutics and forensics. Visitors to this year’s EuroLab fair will see a wide range of products they might find useful in their own labs and they will also find out about the latest developments at research institutes, universities and certification institutions.

The fair is divided into three main sections: chemical analysis, life sciences and biotechnology and metrology. The exhibitors will include distributors of lab accessories, small equipment, laboratory glassware, furniture and other furnishings for laboratories, analytical apparatus, optical equipment and control and measuring devices. Companies taking part in the event will also exhibit chemical substances, tests, software, professional cleaning agents and protective clothing.

Visitors to the EuroLab fair are also able to take part, free of charge, in conferences, lectures and training sessions. The organizers work closely with leading Polish organizations in this sector and science and research institutions, which guarantees that all the accompanying events are of a professional standard. The accompanying events will include a seminar by the Polish Accreditation Center entitled “Safe Food and Drinking Water” and a series of lectures entitled “Problems Faced by Labs,” organized by the POLLAB Polish Research Labs Club and the Polish Committee for Standardization. The organizers of EuroLab are recommending a conference entitled “Performance-Enhancing Drugs. Designer Drugs. Detoxification,” during which experts will speak about the newest methods to detect dangerous and prohibited substances in athletes.

This year’s EuroLab fair will for the first time be held simultaneously with the CrimeLab International Forensic Technology Fair designed for producers and users of forensic equipment. This is Europe’s only trade fair of its kind, intended to facilitate contacts for all professionals who work in forensics. CrimeLab will provide a perfect setting to show off the latest developments in forensic technology, share expertise and establish business contacts. The CrimeLab fair will also comprise seminars and conferences by leading experts.
