Eye-catching calendars and greeting cards that won awards at an international competition held by the Warsaw Fine Arts Academy are on display at the Wilanów Poster Museum in Warsaw.

The competition draws on a tradition started by the Warsaw Fine Arts Academy and the National Library in 1989. Today the event is organized by the Fine Arts Academy together with the Vidical company. The Wilanów Poster Museum has hosted a post-competition exhibition annually since 1997.

The competition judges include outstanding Polish visual artists and photographers. They select the best calendars in four categories—wall calendar, poster calendar, tear-off calendar, and miscellaneous—and the best Christmas card. Special awards are also given out for best photograph, best printed item and best layout.
