The first Polish Economic Congress will take place March 6-8 at the Main Auditorium of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The Polish Economic Congress is being organized by the Warsaw University of Technology together with MM Conferences and the Polish Association of Listed Companies. It has been endorsed by prominent figures from different sectors of the economy. The organizers believe the event will become a meeting of key importance for government and public administration officials, regulatory bodies, politicians, the academic community and leading business people.

The congress is designed as a neutral platform to facilitate the exchange of expertise and encourage participants to share ideas on crucial changes and trends in the economy, business and science. The congress is a noncommercial event, which according to the organizers presents an opportunity for the attendees to establish valuable business contacts and engage in a deeper dialogue with the government, state administration and market regulators.

The accompanying conferences will enable a wider debate on the state of the Polish economy, so that individual sectors can be discussed in greater detail.

The accompanying conferences, taking place March 7-8, are: the 12th Symposium of Telecommunications and the Media Market, the 15th EuroPower International Conference on Energy, the Third Banking Forum and the Congress of Listed Companies.

During a gala ceremony March 6, awards will be given to individuals and companies who have made a special contribution to the development of Poland’s telecommunications, financial and media sectors. The organizers will also highlight best business practices, best business solutions and best products and services which stimulate competitiveness in business and the economy.
