Krynica Morska is the largest and most famous vacation resort on the Vistula Spit in northern Poland. Located on the far end of the spit, around 18 km from the Russian border, the town sits between the waters of the Baltic Sea to the north and the Vistula Lagoon to the south.

Boasting delightful sandy beaches and vast spaces covered by mixed forests abounding in wildlife and birds of all kinds, Krynica Morska has a wide variety of accommodation options, restaurants and other tourist facilities, so that it is a perfect place for both those who like to just relax in peace and tranquility and those who like to party. The local tourist attractions include a historic lighthouse. Built in 1895, it rises to 26.5 meters above the sand dune it stands on.

Since 2001, every year in May the Local Tourist Organization, in conjunction with the town, county and province authorities and local hotel managers, have organized the Krynica Tourist Encounters to present visitors with opportunities to get to know this beautiful part of Poland better, see the area’s lush nature and check out local tourist attractions and accommodation options.
