Living up to its reputation as one of Poland’s best restaurants, the Amber Room restaurant in Warsaw has been awarded four “forks and spoons” by the Michelin Red Guide for the second time in a row. Only two restaurants in Poland can boast such a distinction.

The Amber Room restaurant is housed in the Sobański Palace at 13 Ujazdowskie Ave. in Warsaw, which is also the HQ of the Club of the Polish Business Roundtable. The brainchild of the late Jan Wejchert, a media mogul and a founding member of the Polish Business Roundtable, the Amber Room has since September 2009 been open to non-members. The main reason behind inviting the general public into the restaurant was to allow those who appreciate quality, creative cooking to check out this special place. The Amber Room delivers a modern take on Polish cuisine, drawing inspiration from global trends in cooking.

On weekdays from noon until 3 p.m., the restaurant serves its extremely popular business lunches (zl.79). The menu is different every day, but always comprises a selection of starters, main courses and desserts. Apart from a seasonal á la carte menu, the Amber Room serves a seven-course dégustation menu, set meals and buffets for special events and also provides catering services.

The beautiful Sobański Palace in the heart of Warsaw, professional staff trained at the world’s best restaurants, a well-stocked wine cellar run by the resident sommelier (the current Polish Sommelier Champion), delicious dishes, freshly baked goods from the on-site bakery and patisserie are all the Ingredients of Culinary Perfection at the Amber Room restaurant.
