Brothers Karamazov interpreted by students from Latvia - ITSeLF

“Boys” a play based on the novel “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, directed by Mihails Gruzdovs, Indra Roga will be shown by students of the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga on June 29 as part of the 7th International Theatre Schools Festival ITSelF held in Warsaw June 28 - July 2.

This Latvian production is a story about struggling with the brutality of the world, about young people and their maturing souls. Two parallel story lines – Liza and Ilyusha – collide here with the character of Alyosha Karamozov, who is searching for the path of “right action”.

Spulenieks, Mārtiņ¹ Upenieks, Kaspars Zāle, Jānis Znotiņ¹

All the performances in the competition are shown with English subtitles.
