The Polish Finance Ministry will get a EUR 1 billion loan from the World Bank in July and thus will have financed 91% of Poland's borrowing needs for 2013, public debt department head at the Finance Ministry Piotr Marczak said on Friday.

After receiving the World Bank's loan, Poland will need to borrow additional PLN 7 billion to cover its 2013 spending.

The ministry is planning to suspend treasury auctions in July and August due to the high level of borrowing needs' coverage, an increased liquidity provision and the volatile sentiment on the financial markets, he said.
