Foreign investors continue to reduce holdings in Polish T-bonds

Foreign investors slightly decreased their holdings in Polish Treasury papers by some 2% month on month at end June from PLN 207.2 billion at end-May, head of Finance Ministry debt department Piotr Marczak said.

"In June, we observe a reduction of foreign investors' portfolio by some 2%. The sale of bonds by a small part of foreign investors was used by domestic investors to buy these bonds at attractive prices," Marczak wrote in a statement.

Foreign investors slightly decreased their holdings in Polish Treasury papers to PLN 207.2 billion at end-May from PLN 207.3 billion at end-April, the Finance Ministry said on its website.
