The Polish national air carrier Lot has ordered eight Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft from U.S. manufacturer Boeing.

The first plane of the batch is scheduled to fly to Poland mid-November from the manufacturing site in Seattle in the United States. A month later, the plane will have its first commercial flight. Lot will use the Dreamliners for connections with North America—Chicago, New York and Toronto—and Asia, including the Chinese capital Beijing. In the spring, Lot plans to launch a connection between Warsaw and Beijing, with planes flying five times a week.
