Club for Sports Car Enthusiasts

Article's tools:

Supercar Club Poland is the first club in Poland that offers access to sports cars on a time-share basis.

The club is based on a simple principle—in return for an annual membership fee, a club member earns points, which they later use to pay for driving the cars of their choice and take part in activities organized by the club. At the moment, 10 supercars are available to the members of the club, including the Ferrari F430 Spider, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series, Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche 911 Turbo, Nissan GT-R and Poland’s only electric supercar, the Tesla Roadster Sport.

One of the founders of Supercar Club Poland is Krzysztof Hołowczyc, a three-time Polish rally champion, European champion and multiple Dakar Rally participant. Silva Capital Group, listed on the New Connect market, recently became a core shareholder in the company. The company in November last year bought a block of 90,000 ordinary registered shares, representing 10.4 percent ownership of Supercar Club Poland.

“As an investment vehicle, we have been dealing with investing in companies in many industries that we believe have high growth potential,” says Adam Gbiorczyk, CEO of Silva Capital Group. “We consider our acquisition of shares in Supercar Club Poland to be a very good investment that fits in perfectly with our business strategy. In our investment portfolio we have a total of 120,000 shares of this company, which gives us an almost 14-percent stake. And over the next year we plan to increase our involvement in this promising company.”

Supercar Club Poland deals with all matters related to the possession of a sports car, such as purchase and resale, insurance, repairs, and garaging.

Kamil Dłutko, CEO of Supercar Club Poland, said, “The members of the club are mostly people with one or—more often—several supercars, and, instead of expanding their garage to include more rarely used cars, they prefer to use them on a when-needed basis, allowing the club to handle all the hassle related to ownership. This is not only more practical, but also more beneficial financially. For example, the TOP club package for zl.50,000 guarantees approximately 40 days of driving cars from the club’s garage. Owning a car with a value of zl.500,000 costs at least zl.150,000 a year, including depreciation, insurance, maintenance service and other expenses. In the case of a pleasure car, you drive it for no more than 40 days a year. Our proposition is therefore at least three times cheaper, and at the same time means access to more than a dozen cars.”

The club also offers training in track and road driving, meetings with people from the world of motoring and gran turismo trips to the most attractive destinations in the world.
