Governing party support down to 22%, opposition support at 33%

Support for the centrist governing Civic Platform (PO) fell four percentage points to 22% in late August, while support for the conservative opposition Law and Justice (PiS) fell by one percentage point to 33%, according to a Tuesday report by public opinion researcher Homo Homini for the Rzeczpospolita daily.
Voter support for the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) increased by one percentage point to 15%, according to the poll.
The liberal Palikot's Movement (RP) lost 3 percentage points to 3%, below the 5% threshold required to enter the parliament.
Support for the junior coalition partner Polish People's Party (PSL) fell one percentage point to 5%.
The poll was conducted August 23-24 on a representative sample of 1100 Poles.
