A topping-out ceremony for the Plac Unii office and retail complex in Warsaw was held Dec. 27, with a leafy branch placed at the top of the complex's tallest building. The completion of the project, which is being carried out by Liebrecht & wooD and BBI Development, is scheduled for this autumn.

The topping-out ceremony marked the completion of the building's shell. The general contractor started to heat the building and began finishing works, which include the façade of the main tower.

The Plac Unii complex is between the Śródmieście and Mokotów districts. It is composed of three buildings connected by a glass roof: a 21-story building A and six-story buildings B and C. The multifunctional complex provides a total of 56,800 sq m of leasable area. ING Group and Dalkia Polska SA are among the tenants who have rented space in the office part of the complex. The retail part will be 15,500 sq m in size and be home to tenants including Supersam, Zara, Massimo Dutti, ING Bank, Vistula & Wólczanka, W. Kruk, Cubus and Deni Cler.
