Polish and Moldovan PMs, Donald Tusk and Iurie Leanca met in Warsaw on Monday to discuss Poland's support for Moldova's efforts for closer cooperation with the EU and the abolition of the EU visa regime.
Tusk said at a joint press conference that one of the main topics discussed was the prospect of Moldova's signing of an association agreement with the EU at the November Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.
"Moldova could always rely on Poland's support, and such will be the case in the nearest future," he said.
