Wroclaw University of Technology is the best Polish technical university according to rankings made by reputable WEBOMETRICS. Once again, Wroclaw University of Technology has been among the top 500 best universities in the world, occupying the 412th global ranking (this is the highest position in the history of WUT). What is more, Wroclaw University of Technology has been classified on 156th in Europe, 12 in Central and Eastern Europe and 4 in Poland.

This year's ranking took more than 21 thousand institutions involved in higher education from around the world, including as many as 450 Polish universities.

Webometrics Ranking of World's Universities is being prepared by the largest Spanish organization conducting the research - Consejo Superior de InvestigacionesCientíficas (CSIC). It is completely independent from the data provided by the universities - the study parameters and criteria are external. It is conducted since 2004 and refreshed twice a year.(kid)
