Work to build a zl.110 million shopping center is under way in the town of Chojnice, Pomerania province.

The four-level shopping center, called Multicentrum Victoria, will have a gross leasable area of over 14,000 sq m, with a supermarket, a three-screen cinema, the city's largest bowling alley with a music club, a medical center, restaurants, cafes and around 80 stores. It will also offer 500 parking spaces.

Geothermal energy sources will be used to heat and cool the mall. Surplus heat generated in this way will be transferred to a nearby water park.

The construction project began in November. The investor is the Victoria Sobol special-purpose company. The general contractor is the Doraco consortium. The Arkon Studio architectural practice based in the northern city of Gdańsk has designed the center. Real estate services company DTZ is responsible for leasing it out to tenants.
