Amazon to employ 6,000 Poles - report

U.S. internet e-commerce giant Amazon plans to employ 6,000 people in its three logistic centers near the cities of Wroclaw and Poznan in western Poland which are to open in 2014, the daily Puls Biznesu reported on Monday.
Two other logistic centers will be launched in the Czech Republic.
The world's largest online retailer plans to move distribution of its good from Germany to the five new logistics complexes to supply Western Europe from Poland and the Czech Republic, the daily wrote.
Amazon plans to employ about 6,000 permanent employees in its centers in Wroclaw and Poznan, and 9,000 seasonal workers when the need arises, according to a source quoted by the daily.
