Polish priest sought in pedophilia case found in Poland

Polish police said Wednesday they have located a fugitive Polish catholic priest Wojciech Gil sought by Interpol on suspicion he sexually abused children in the Dominican Republic.
Gil was found at his parent’s home in the village of Modlnica near the southern city of Cracow. He was not detained but instructed to notify police of any change of location.
As Poland does not have an extradition treaty with the Dominican Republic the police would need a request from Dominican investigators to arrest Gil.
