Poland to boost investment in special economic zones

The Polish government plans to introduce changes in operations of special economic zones (SEZ) to create more advantageous mechanisms for firms which will decide to make investments in years 2013-2015, deputy PM and Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski said Wednesday.
We will try to create a mechanism more favorable for firms willing to invest, but considerably less favorable for companies ready to invest at a later date," Rostowski told reporters.
"Last July the government prolonged the deadline for SEZs' operations until end-2026 from the previously planned end-2020.
