Poland's retail sales grow in August - Eurostat

Polish retail sales went up at an annual rate of 4.5% in August on a 0.3% monthly increase, according to a release by Eurostat.
The figure is above the 3.4% annual reading by Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS). In contrast to the Polish data, Eurostat data include stores with a headcount below ten employees and exclude automotive sales.
Eurostat annual growth figures are working-day adjusted, while the monthly figures are seasonally adjusted.
