Top experts from around the world will descend on Poland May 16 for an international conference and exhibition about defense and security.

The 9th Advanced Technologies for Homeland Defense and Border Protection conference and exhibition will be held at Warsaw’s InterContinental Hotel.

The event aims to be a key trade fair in the homeland security and defense sector and a valuable source of specialist information as well as a forum for exchanging know-how and experience.

The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of products and services from the defense sector and the arms industry.
As usual, a group of international guests accompanied by experts from Poland’s National Security Bureau, the Defense Ministry and the Foreign Ministry will debate security, including the dangers that could threaten Poland.

Poland with its regularly increasing defense budget, at nearly 2 percent of the annual GDP, has sizable funds for the modernization of its defense capacity, including investment in various advanced armament programs. As a result, many leading international armament corporations are setting their sights on Poland.

The event is being organized by Zarz±d Targów Warszawskich (Warsaw Exhibition Board) and ALTAIR Air Agency, the publisher of the monthly RAPORT-wojsko, technika, obronno¶ć, a magazine about military matters.
