JSW signs deal for construction of 75 MWe power block

Unit of miner JSW, SEJ, signed a net PLN 507.8 million contract with builder Energoinstal in consortium with Skobud for the construction of a 75 MWe co-generation fluidized-bed technology power block at the Zofiowka heat and power plant, southern Poland.
The deadline for construction works was set at 36 months from the signing of the agreement, the market filing read.
On Friday JSW said that its unit SEJ will sign an up to PLN 420 million bond program with state special purpose bank BGK and Alior Bank to enable the realization of SEJ's energy projects, including the Zofiowka investment.
