A dozen shows by 10 Polish groups and six shows by foreign troupes will be staged during this year’s International Street Art Festival in Warsaw in late June and early July.

This year’s festival, held for the 21st time, has been divided into two sections. In the first section, Warsaw audiences will see performances by street theaters and circus troupes, and the other section will feature dance and music ensembles.

Festival performances will take place on the weekends of June 29-30 and July 5-7 in the New Town Square, Zamkowy Square, the Agrykola Park and the square near the Słodowiec metro station. Performers will include the Continuo Theatre from the Czech Republic, Italy’s Faber Theater, and France’s Commandos Perki Theater, which is a troupe of drummers who play inventive music instruments of their own design using pyrotechnics and other special effects.

The International Street Art Festival is organized by the Scena 96 association.
